Tips For Positive Thinking

  1. Believe in yourself
  2. Recognize negative thoughts and stop them before they take over your mood.
  3. Remind yourself of your blessings.
  4. Take responsibility for your actions.
  5. If told something is impossible take it as a challenge to prove them wrong.
  6. Postie thinking is contagious - seek out positive people.
  7. Negative thinging is also contagious - avoid negative people.
  8. Get away from it all - de-stress. Take time for a little 'me' time.
  9. Take care of yourself - eat right and exercise.
  10. Read, learn a new hobby or take a class.
  11. Never lose sight of your goals.
  12. Surround yourself with things that you love and make you feel good.
  13. Make it a habit to think positively.


How to Implement Positive Thinking

  • Use positive language.
  • Praise God for all your blessings.
  • Say thank you many times a day.
  • Listen to inspirational talks and music.
  • Use a positive statement every day. Example: I am having a wonderful day.
  • Read an inspirational article or book section every day.
  • Surround yourself with positive quotes, sayings and inspiring pictures.

  • Create a vision board - cut out pictures of a house you would like to own, places you would like to visit, or body you would like to have after weight loss.
